Michael Doltoff
Harness Racing Victoria (HRV) Stewards had previously disqualified Mr Michael Doltoff for a period of 12 months on two charges to be served concurrently, for breaching HRV Rule 190 (1) & (2), by presenting Prince Benji and Kept for Pleasure to race at the Ballarat harness racing meeting on 19 August 2007 with elevated TCO2 levels in excess of 36mmol/L.
Mr Doltoff lodged an appeal against the conviction and severity of the penalty imposed by the Stewards and the tribunal concluded this matter on 10 December 2007. The tribunal dismissed Mr Doltoff’s appeal and reaffirmed the 12 month period of disqualification, his penalty was deemed to commence on 8 October 2007.
