Bob Mahncke
Stewards today held an inquiry into the conduct of licensed trainer Mr Bob Mahncke towards HRV Stewards at the Charlton Harness Racing race meeting on the 26th of October, 2009.
After considering evidence from Mr Mahncke and Deputy Chairman of Stewards James Hitchcock, HRV Stewards Kylie Harrison and Brent Glassford, Mr Mahncke was found guilty of a charge under Rule 247 which reads:
A person attending before the Controlling Body its members or employees, the stewards, officials, or at any proceeding under these rules, shall not speak or behave in a malicious, intimidatory or otherwise improper manner.
Mr Mahncke was fined $1000. Stewards also imposed a three (3) month suspended sentence which was a penalty issued by HRV Stewards on 23 October 2008. This suspension commences at midnight Tuesday 10th November 2009.
